Before planning begins, you will provide:
- room dimensions
- photos of the existing space
- door and window locations
- any existing plans or drawings
- appliance requirements or preferred sizes, when known
- information about your routines, storage needs and priorities
You do not need professionally prepared drawings to begin.
HOW THE PROCESS WORKS
After purchase, you receive the project questionnaire and measurement instructions.
Once your project information is complete, I develop the kitchen planning direction and prepare the floor plan, applicable elevations and planning explanation.
We then review the plan together during the virtual presentation.
Following the presentation, the included refinement is completed and the final planning package is issued.
WHAT THIS PLAN IS INTENDED FOR
The completed package is intended to serve as a planning and design-intent reference for conversations with cabinet suppliers, contractors and other project professionals.
It is not a cabinet shop drawing, fabrication drawing, architectural drawing or construction-document package.
Your selected cabinet supplier, contractor or other project professional remains responsible for field verification and for translating the planning direction into the specific cabinetry system, technical details and construction requirements used on your project.
