About to sign off on your kitchen plan?

Before you order your kitchen,

Still wondering if you've missed something?

Your cabinet designer may have reviewed it.

You can still want another experienced, independent set of eyes.

We review your existing kitchen plan for potential functional concerns and identify what needs resolving,

what's worth reconsidering, and what works as planned.

THE MOMENT BEFORE YOU APPROVE

The plan may look finished. But will it work as intended?

Most homeowners don't want to redesign everything. They want to know whether something important could affect how their kitchen works every day.

01 / Access

Will the fridge, oven and drawers actually open properly?

We review the clearances and interactions a beautiful rendering may not reveal.

02 / Everyday use

Will the island get in the way when two people use the kitchen?

We examine work aisles, traffic routes, cooking and cleanup together.

03 / Useful space

Is there enough workspace where you really need it?

We look at landing areas, appliance positions and the relationships between work zones.

Once cabinetry is ordered, correcting a planning concern can mean replacements, additional installation work or delays.

Investing $40,000 or more in your kitchen?

A $395 independent review is less than 1% of that investment.

Identify potential concerns while your existing team can still address them before approval.

SEE WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR

See what your $395 assessment looks like.

Not a redesign or a list of instructions.

A marked-up plan with clear findings,

each labeled Resolve or Worth Reconsidering.

Each observation identifies where the concern lies and how it is prioritized.

Corrections and technical decisions remain with your existing project team.

1

Refrigerator & Adjacent Storage Access

The refrigerator door may not open far enough to access its interior drawers. The adjacent narrow pull-out could also be difficult to use.

Check both opening clearances and adjust cabinet spacing if needed before ordering.

Resolve

3

The island aisle may feel constrained.

The 5' aisle may become difficult to navigate when people are seated, especially during cooking and cleanup.

Check the remaining walking space with stools occupied and people working at the counter.

Worth Reconsidering

2

Conflict Corner Cabinet Door & Access Next to Range

The corner cabinet door may hit the range handle before opening fully, restricting access to the cabinet.

Verify door swing against the range dimensions and adjust the cabinet arrangement if needed.

Resolve

4

Corner Seat Usability

The end seat may not provide enough legroom, uncomfortable to sit & potentially obstructing the walkway.

Review the available legroom and whether the end seat is practical in this position.

Worth Reconsidering

YOUR DECISION, MADE CLEARER

Know whether to approve, resolve or reconsider.

The review gives you something useful whether it identifies concerns or confirms that no significant planning issues are visible in the documents provided.

One existing layout. One focused assessment.

We don't redesign the kitchen or replace your designer. We identify functional concerns and distinguish what needs resolving from what is worth reconsidering before approval.

Annotated plan

Concerns marked directly where they apply on your proposed layout.

Clear findings

Specific observations describing the functional concern, not general design opinions.

Two priority labels

Each identified concern is marked Resolve or Worth Reconsidering.

Overall assessment

A summary of the plan based on the functional relationships visible in your documents.

A clear assessment, not another full design process.

Ready to Move Forward

No significant functional planning concerns identified within the material reviewed.

Resolve Before Ordering

The general direction works, but specific points need attention before approval.

Reconsider the Layout

More consequential functional concerns should be revisited before committing.

WHAT YOUR $395 INCLUDES

Stop wondering what you might have missed.

You may already have an excellent kitchen plan.  You may just need an independent professional to tell you what they see before you sign off.

Keep your designer.  Keep your plan.

Know what to address before you approve it.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

A few sensible questions.

Clear answers about what this review will and won't do for your project.

My designer or cabinet supplier has already checked it. Why pay for another review?

This is a separate, independent look at the layout's functional relationships. You can share the findings with the team you already trust without commissioning a new design or replacing their work.

What if you don't find anything wrong?

We'll tell you what appears to work as planned, within the information provided. The aim is a useful professional assessment, not to manufacture problems. A favorable review is not a guarantee of installation conditions.

Will you redesign the plan if something needs fixing?

No. The Layout Check identifies functional concerns and labels each one Resolve or Worth Reconsidering. It does not provide revised drawings, design solutions or instructions for correcting issues. A revised design is a separate service.

Do I need detailed construction drawings?

A dimensioned proposed floor plan and appliance model numbers or specification sheets are required. Elevations are helpful, but optional. We may need clarification if the files don't contain enough information for a meaningful review.

Does this guarantee cabinet fit or code compliance?

No. This is a document-based functional review, not field measurement, engineering, permit review, shop-drawing approval or code certification. Your supplier and licensed project professionals remain responsible for field verification, technical approvals, building-code requirements and execution.

I'm still exploring entirely different layouts. Is this the right service?

Probably not yet. This review is intended for an existing proposed layout that's approaching approval. If you need to develop or compare fundamentally different layouts, a planning service is a better fit.
